BONJOUR,
Who I am? What does it look like in few words and in English?
True French, happy, dreamer, feminin(ist) but not feminist, believer, adventurous, lover of life, lover of love, passionate, curious, self-confessed that less is more, Chanelophile, photographer, columnist, fashionista and stylista, traveller, inspired, chocolate afficionada, epicurean, gastronome, speaker, thinker and overthinker, cat woman, reader, smiler, enthusiast of good wine, wilder, entrepreneur, bienvenue to my world.
I'm Caroline, French brunette who decided to expand my life after 10 years in the French event management industry. After a lot of travels on this amazing planet, I decided to settle in Melbourne, the fashion city of excellence in Australia.
Passionate about fashion, beauty, and lover of my French culture, I wanted to start a blog to share with you the French Style and Art de Vivre, my thoughts, tips, secrets, and my favourite places that bring me back to France.
And with my background in Communication and Fashion, I wanted to create special services for individuals and Corporates.
"In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different." Coco Chanel
Let me tell you a bit about my journey. When I was 30 years-old it was definitely time for change after almost 7 years with my business. My business? A hostess agency that allowed me to work for the most prestigious events and be inspired, especially during the 6 year Cannes Film Festival.
Largely recognized for my professionalism, sense of style, and determination to bring La Crème de la Crème in my work, I travelled between Paris (my city of heart), Marseille (my city of origin), and the French Riviera. That was my life, not so bad to be honest.
Then, I decided to travel (voyager) with a huge desire to discover a new culture and finally learn English; what bring me to Australia. An appetite to learn more and more about different cultures. After all we live once (on ne vit qu'une fois). At 33 years-old, it was time. I gave up my profession, on my way, I left my ex, I sold everything, I worked on my spirit and mind (still working), repeating to myself "je peux le faire" (yes I can do it). I said au revoir to my family and friends, I bought a one-trip ticket, and I arrived in Melbourne with my two luggages full of clothes (the only thing I couldn’t sell of course). And voilà, here I am!
